Meet Our Staff

Crystal Roberts - Financial Coordinator
I am the Financial Coordinator here at NRV Dental. I have over 8 years of dental experience and attend many classes to further my dental knowledge. I am married and have two boys. My husband and I have been in the NRV now for 9 years and truly enjoy it here. In my free time enjoy going to Virginia Tech football games and watching my children play sports. I am very excited about becoming part of a wonderful practice and look forward to meeting each and every one of you.

Yvonne Bedsaul - Dental Assistant
I have been in the dental field for more than 22 years. I went to Wytheville Community College while working in dental offices part-time in Wytheville and then in Galax. I left dentistry to work in insurance for almost 2 years, but my love of dentistry brought me back to an office in Wytheville where I worked for 16 years before going to work with Dr Atherton. I was thrilled when she opened this office in Blacksburg and I am proud and happy to be working for her in an office that is professional and patient-oriented.

Crystal - Dental Hygienist
I am Crystal Meredith Davis. I have been a registered dental hygienist for 6 years. I was educated at Wytheville Community College and have lived in the New River Valley my entire life. I love being a hygienist and working in Dr. Atherton's new office!

Tara - Hygiene Assistant
My name is Tara Reynolds. I have worked in the dental field for two and a half years. I am married and have a son. In my spare time I like to go to new places, try new things and go SHOPPING! I have lived here in the NRV all my life. I love working with Dr. Atherton and the staff here. I look forward to meeting you.

Erica - Appointment Coordinator
My name is Erica Ziegert. My husband and I moved from Virginia Beach to the NRV in 2006. I attended Virginia Wesleyan College for journalism and communications. Before having the pleasure of working for Dr. Atherton and her staff here in Blacksburg, I worked for a large dental firm in Virginia Beach. Prior to going into dentistry I ran and operated a cook your own steakhouse in Hampton Roads for 18 years. I enjoy cooking, traveling, watching football (Dallas Cowboy fan) and keeping up with our 1 1/2 year old daughter. I look forward to meeting you here at NRV Dental.
