The state of the art technology in radiography are digital x-rays. Digital x-rays reduce the amount of radiation used by 90%. The digital image takes about 10 seconds to appear on the monitor. This larger image can help the patient understand the doctor’s explanations more easily and enables the doctor to zoom in on a specific part of the tooth.
